Hi Matt.

Very Thank you!

I looked at the plugin's version, and there was an update (3.1). After upgrading, I got to the extra field work!

Thank you! Thank you!

Hi Matt...

Thanks for responding.
I created a field that lists posts from custom post type. It is working. But I can not send the selected data in the email.

What I did wrong?

Hi Miriam, which version of WPCF7 are you using? It seems there is support for a hidden field now. If you are still using an older version and try to implement the change documented above, have you uninstalled and re-installed the plugin like Dan did? It solved his problem apparently.

Hi Peter, I've edited your comments so they look alright. They won't show indenting as I don't apply the pretty formatter to those. That's for another time!

Regarding your code, I can confirm that the second one you posted (for a solution on the same server) does work properly and I've updated my original post as well to reflect those changes, which should help a few out there!

Thanks a lot!

And here is a version you can use if your live site is <strong>on another server</strong>. Keep in mind that you will have to setup a user who can ssh to the other server using keys instead of passwords to authenticate. I’m sure you can find those instructions online.

<code>#!/bin/bash
# {oldrev} {newrev} {refname}
tmpdir=/tmp/git
devpath=/path/to/dev
livepath=/path/to/live
livehost=somehostname
while read oldrev newrev ref
do
        branch=`echo $ref | cut -d/ -f3`
        if [[ "master" == "$branch" ]]; then
                mkdir -p $tmpdir$livepath
                git --work-tree=$tmpdir$livepath checkout -f $branch
                rsync -auv -e ssh --progress --delete $tmpdir$livepath/ $livehost:$livepath
                rm -rf $tmpdir$livepath
                echo 'Changes pushed live.'
        elif [[ "development" == "$branch" ]]; then
                git --work-tree=$devpath checkout -f $branch
                echo 'Changes pushed to dev.'
        fi
done

The last one I posted won't work unless you change the shabang. Here's a better version that should be a little easier to read. I have tested this one successfully.

<code>#!/bin/bash
#
livepath="/path/to/your/live"
devpath="/path/to/your/dev"
while read oldrev newrev ref
do
	branch=`echo $ref | cut -d/ -f3`
	if [[ "master" == "$branch" ]]; then
		git --work-tree=$livepath checkout -f $branch
		echo 'Changes pushed live.'
	elif [[ "development" == "$branch" ]]; then
		git --work-tree=$devpath checkout -f $branch
		echo 'Changes pushed to dev.'
	fi
done</code>
