After a successful but simple first version of their site, D3 triathlon needed something a little more refined and working across different devices. Augmented with new features for accessing race details quickly, this new version hopefully will bring D3 triathlon the audience they deserve!

A while back I posted about frustration I had about a project not being released. I posted it with a blurred screenshot of a site that will not get released. I’ve re-read the terms of my contract with Orange and it’s clearly accepted in it that I have the right to produce static assets for portfolio matters. Here they are!

In between bad news from client #1 and client #2, There is a bit of bright news. Not all is bad for ekynoxe!

Through international DJ Shur-I-Kan, whith whom I work at Orange, I came to meet Steve Maud of Cloud Nine Media, who was at the time looking to create a new website to showcase his videos, while providing him with the ability to do it all himself from a CMS.

The art of keeping calm

I delivered last week the website for a big client, and after a few months of very tight schedules, technical explications on the solutions chosen and the limitations of web browsers, debates and frank disagreements, I can’t say it’s been a smooth ride.

However, most of the problems that come up along the way can boil down to some important points that I may not have highlighted enough as being critical for the delivery, and the client’s inability to have things done and agreed in a timely manner: (more…)
